Hidden Causes of Depression and The Best Treatment for All Cases

There are many obvious causes of depression which easily justify the hopeless feeling that can take over someone's life. Some of the reasons for these feelings of hopelessness and despair are the death of a loved one, relationships problems, betrayal, bankruptcy, and other misfortunes.

However, there are many hidden causes of depression that no one notices. These causes are basic ones and we should all find out what they are and what we can do to prevent them.

When we are children each time we feel sad or upset we start crying. Everyone around us tries to make us stop crying, giving us toys, food, or hugging and cuddling us. As children, we have the right to show the world that we are sad, and we have the right to demand a solution shouting loudly, without caring about anything else besides our own pain.

As we grow up we enter into a program of adaptations that never ends.

We have to suppress our feelings. We are conditioned to hide our despair from the world. We have to respect other people. We have to respect the rules of social conduct as it pertains to our business environment. We have to respect governmental rules, social mores, and a series of rules and regulations, that never seems to end.

We have to work without being lazy. We have to do everything on time without delaying. We have to accept our obligations without complaining because we are adults.

When we grow up we always tell everyone that we are fine. We don’t cry on anyone’s shoulder. We don’t talk about our problems with other people. They have their own problems; we don’t have the right to keep them busy with ours.

Besides that, we don’t want to show them how much we are suffering. We feel ashamed because we have ridiculous problems. We don’t want to seem weak, poor, or lacking intelligence.

The bitter truth is that we have many reasons to feel depressed everyday, but we constantly repress our feelings.

We have to pretend to be fine. Everyone here is an actor.

We live in a totally absurd world, following absurd rules, while disrespecting other rules that we should care about.

We should respect the human race, our own planet, the nature of the place we live in, and many other things that we neglect.

However, we don’t have time to care about anything else besides following our daily program. We live in a face paced world. We are too busy. We have numerous obligations preventing us from truly caring for our mental health.

This introduction gives you only an idea about how many reasons are provoking your sadness when you feel depressed. If you want to discover what all the hidden causes of depression are, you should learn how to translate the meaning of your dreams.
